Brock Lesnar and Triple H reignite last summer’s feud at the two go face to face at WrestleMania. Will Triple H gain revenge on Lesnar for breaking his arm at SummerSlam or will it be game over for Triple H’s career.
One week after a devastating loss and a broken arm, Triple H questioned his future and thanked the fans for their brilliant support over the years.
Brock Lesnar also left WWE but he returned in January and attacked the chairman Mr. McMahon. Weeks later, an injured boss was set for a fight with Paul Heyman but once again Lesnar appeared. Triple H made a return to save his father-in-law and assaulted The Beast.
The next week Triple H came to Old School Raw and challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at WrestleMania. The following week, Lesnar made a statement by assaulting Triple H’s friends Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. Heyman accepted The Game’s challenge on behalf of Lesnar but only if they name the stipulations.
The following week, Triple H came to Raw to sign the contract giving Lesnar and Heyman the power to name the stipulation. Heyman managed to escape serious injury as Triple H attacked. After he signed, the contract Heyman announced it will be No Holds Barred. The second stipulation was that Triple H’s career is on the line.
Triple H responded to the stipulations the next week on Raw saying he is not phased as he has treated every match over the past 20 years like his life depended on it. This past week, we learned Shawn Michaels will be in the corner of The Game. Heyman and Lesnar interupted the DX reunion and promised to end Triple H’s career at ‘Mania.
This is the hardest match to call. Triple H’s close friends Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels both lost when their career’s were on the line and in this kind of stipulation, it’s rare that the career is saved. However The Game has already lost to Lesnar once so he should win and pick up his first ‘Mania win since 2010. I cannot see what is left for Triple H after WrestleMania but I don’t think he will lose to Lesnar again.
Winner: Triple H
