Chairs will be swinging, tables will be smashed and ladders will be thrown when WWE TLC comes to Boston, which sees Roman Reigns look to regain the WWE Championship when he takes on Sheamus.
Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE Championship
Sheamus (c) v Roman Reigns
After his WWE Championship only lasted five minutes and fifteen seconds thanks to Sheamus successfully cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns is aiming to take back the gold.
While I am enjoying seeing my fellow Dubliner strut around with the gold, WWE made the wrong move at Survivor Series as I feel now, Roman Reigns won’t be turning heel in time for WresteMania, thus leaving me clueless on their plans for the showcase of immortals.
We have also seen the emergence of the League of Nations in the past few weeks teaming the Celtic Warrior with Rusev and King Barrett, although I would not have added Alberto Del Rio to the mix.
Sheamus has enjoyed a strong start as champion and I don’t think they will disrupt. Once again, Roman Reigns will come up short as the Celtic Warrior retains with the help of LON.
Kevin Owens (c) v Dean Ambrose
After just missing out on becoming WWE Champion at Survivor Series, Dean Ambrose turns his attention to the Intercontinental Championship but standing in his way is the current champion Kevin Owens.
It is also a rematch of their semi-final clash at Survivor Series in which Ambrose won after a decent match between the two men. However, I expected better things from Ambrose and Owens last month and therefore, I am expecting big things for this match.
Ambrose got one over on the former NXT Champion on Raw by tossing popcorn and a soda in the champion’s face and tonight I am backing Ambrose to dethrone KO and become Intercontinental Champion for the first time.
Prediction: Dean Ambrose
