And it’s official. David Luiz has completed a sensational return to Chelsea after just two years away from the club for a fee believed to be around £4m with the Brazilian signing a three year deal. A sense of a panic buy from Antonio Conte,
Welcome back, @DavidLuiz_4!

No official confirmation from Chelsea yet but the David Luiz deal is done. The Brazilian who left Chelsea for PSG for £50m returns to the Premier League for a £34m move. Its a £16m loss for the French champions.
Moussa Sissoko is a Spurs player as he has completed a £30m move to Tottenham from Championship side Newcastle, signing a five year deal with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

That is it. The transfer window is closed. Tottenham and Chelsea fans should not fret as Moussa Sissoko and David Luiz’s moves could still be annoucned a long as the paperwork was filed in time and a dodgy fax machine has not scuppered any plans.
A few more deals to tell you about. Watford’s Scottish winger Ikechi Anya has joined Derby for an undiscloed fee, while Wilfried Bony’s arrival at Stoke means Joselu is out to Deportivo on a, Yes you guessed it, season loan to fill the void left by new Arsenal man Lucas Perez.
They did not manage to grab Moussa Sissoko but Everton have got a new man in today, West Ham striker Enner Valencia turned down Swansea to sign with Ronald Koeman’s side on a one-year loan, with an option to buy.
Hull who hadn’t signed anyone for last week and wrapped up another new player in the form of Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani, who spent time on loan at Noriwhc last season, on loan for the rest of the season. That must be about 50+ loan deals today.

15 minutes to go and we have a another loan deal. Swansea’s Marvin Emnes makes the switch to struggling Blackburn in the Championship.
Liverpool’s forgotten man Lazar Markovic leaves the club on loan for the second time as he joins Portugal side Sporting Lisbon on a season loan. It will be interesting to see how the former Benfica man is received by his former side’s rivals.
West Brom have added Welsh forward Hal Robson Kanu to their squad on a free transfer after the 27-year-old left Reading earlier this summer after rejecting a new contract.
One in and one out for West Brom as former Liverpool and Southampton striker Rickie Lambert links up with Championship side Cardiff for an undisclosed fee.
No news on David Luiz in the past couple of hours. Has the former Chelsea man got his medical done and all the paperwork signed or will his sensational return fall through?
It looks like Spurs have snatched Moussa Sissoko from under the noses of Everton. RMC Sport in France are reporting that the French winger will sign a five year deal with Spurs.
It is understood that Tottenham have now matched Everton’s bid for Newcastle winger Moussa Sissoko. under an hour to go can all the paperwork be done in time or will we have a David De Gea like situation?
Under an hour to go and a couple more minor deals. Jason Denayer is the latest player to leave Man City on loan as the Belgian defender joins Sunderland for the season, while Lucas Piazon swaps Chelsea for fellow Londoners Fulham on loan until January.
Everton have snapped up Sheffield United youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The 19-year-old enjoyed a very successful six month loan with League Two champions Northampton last season and now joins the Toffees youth team on a four year deal.
